ATVing is a very popular activity in Los Cabos. Riding and racing in the desert on your own all-terrain vehicle is a fun way to experience a little off-road speed. Helmets and protection are necessary!
Guided tours take visitors along the cliff-top bluffs of San Jose del Cabo toward East Cape and to the dried river bottoms of Arroyo de la Laguna, where you can let loose and race amid the desert scrub and cacti.
As with any type of motorized vehicle, ATVs are not allowed on the beaches of Los Cabos, because they may damage the terrain and can be dangerous to local animals, including sea turtles and their eggs.
Be careful to watch your speed while on the local streets of Los Cabos.
