Snorkeling in Los Cabos is a whole other experience in itself, with innumerable fish to be admired. On an average day, schools of triggerfish twirl through your fingertips, goatfish, parrotfish swim by and stop to have a snack on the multitude of colorful plants that paint the azure ocean floor.
Snorkeling is an exciting activity to be enjoyed by the whole family as it is as simple as flipping your flippers but do not be surprised to feel your heart pounding as you discover this new world which will give you a whole new respect for life underwater. Los Cabos has no shortage of abundant areas where tropical marine life intermingle with vast reef and coral systems.
If you wish to discover more adventurous areas a water-taxi at the Cabo San Lucas marina takes divers to one of the many hot spots or more private areas. Just keep in mind that if you wish to trail away to Lovers Beach it is best to take a snorkeling tour (many offered at the marina) you will be sped away near the arch, where you can snorkel, dive or watch the sea lions.
