surfing.jpgWhile surfers don’t flock to Los Cabos as they do to the famed surf spots to the north, there are still many great spots to catch a wave and try your hand at the sport. Whether you are long boarder or a short boarder, are into boogie boarding or body surfing, all you need is the need is motivation because good surf is always waiting for you in Los Cabos.

Seasoned veterans need only hang around the Corridor and San Jose region before they discover the “secret hotspots” of the local surfers. And Todos Santos to the north of Cabo San Lucas is known to have some of the best tubes in the region.

The warm summer swells begin from a southerly direction — during this time the Corridor stretch between San Lucas and San Jose along the Sea of Cortez have the best waves. The northwest swells along the Pacific coast begin in the winter season, while the stormy season from late summer to early fall traditionally brings the best waves of the year.
